These solar roofing  tiles also provide you with the capability of selling any unused generated power back to the national grid.

15m² of  Solarcentry C21e roof tiles has the capability of providing up to 45% of your electricity demand for a typical three bedroom home. C21e solar tiles also have a manufactures guarantee to generate power for a minimum of 25 years (thereafter performance may degrade below 80% efficiency).

Solar roofing tiles should be installed on roof slopes facing South East to South West for maximum effect. Additionally there are no cleaning costs as the wind & rain clean the solar roofing tiles.

'c Mason and Son Roofing Ltd' would provide & install the solar roofing tiles into your roof slope, additionally an electrician with a specific G83 inverter qualification will be required to supply & install a G83 inverter, fuse box & meter(s). The electrician will then be required to complete the G83 form(s) notifying your electric provider of the proposed installation and allowing you to sell unused electricity back to the national grid.

How Solar Electric Roofing Tiles Work
	1. PV roof Daylight hits the PV and is converted to clean electricity, even on cloudy days. There are no moving parts so this happens silently.
	2. Inverter The electricity generated by the roof is DC (direct current). An inverter makes it AC (alternating current), in sync with mains electricity so that it can be used normally.
	3. Fuse box The solar electricity is fed into the mains via your fuse box, for safety.
	4. Meters The PV roof generates electricity all day. Spare electricity automatically flows out to the grid and is sold back to your electricity supply company. As an option you can fit an extra electricity meter that measures how much you export.
	5. At night At night, the PV does not produce any electricity. Instead, your mains power is automatically supplied from the grid. Extra power is always available from the grid at times of high demand.
